Independence & Oversight
Our board will include eight members, including seats for three investors, a voice for the planet, a voice for indigenous people and a voice for youth.
In addition, an independent supervisory body composed of scientists, NbS experts, and industry professionals will oversee our accreditation process. This body has the final say on the ABC scores awarded to each project, ensuring integrity in pricing.
In addition to formal oversight, we encourage P2P regulation via the Native map. Users will soon be able to report discrepancies between listed ABC scores and real-world observations, fostering a community-driven approach to accuracy.
Native envisions a global NbS map enriched through information crowdsourcing, similar to Wikipedia's knowledge base. While infallibility is not our claim, we believe an open platform encourages a more accurate and comprehensive representation of global conservation efforts.
