Native is dedicated to reinforcing the credibility of each NbS project through rigorous certification. We employ a blend of publicly accessible data, academic research, ground data and advanced technologies such as satellite imagery and AI to validate the carbon, additionality, biodiversity and community impact values of each Square. Each project will then be cross-checked by expert third parties. At present moment Native is working with both the Cambridge Centre for Carbon Credits (4C) and HSAT and is continually working to improve our methodology.
